RIVERSIDE CLUB ADULT & JUNIOR TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012 - SPONSORED BY SWISS HOTELS
We are excited to announce that our annual open club championships for both Adult & Juniors will run from Monday 2 April- Saturday 16 June (finals day). This year in addition to the open events for singles, we will also be running club rating categories based on colour banding/ITN club rating that were given upon completion of the on-court assessment.
Adult Events
This year the following catagories will be available to enter for adults:
- Mens Singles
- Ladies Singles
- Mens Doubles
- Ladies Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
Club Rating Events
This year players from beginner (Red) level will enter their own rating bands up to Brown and Blue as follows:
- 10-9 (white/Red/Yellow)
- 8-7 (Green and Brown)
To qualify, all ratings should be bonafide and have been confirmed by the on-court system and currently be on our database. If in doubt you can have a re-assesment as to your standard.
Junior Events
This year the following catagories will be available to enter for juniors:
- Under 10 - Boys singles / Girls singles / Boys doubles / Girls doubles
- Under 14 - Boys singles / Girls singles / Boys doubles / Girls doubles
- Under 18 - Boys singles / Girls singles / Boys doubles / Girls doubles
What is the format?
Each competition will be run as either a straight knockout or round robin competition depending on the number of entries with initial rounds organised by the players at mutually convenient times and played by round end date.
Entry Fees
SINGLES EVENTS: £10
DOUBLES EVENTS: £5 *
If entering more than one singles event, second event is charged at £5.
Looking For A Doubles Partner?
If you have no doubles partner, the club will be happy to try and pair you up with another player. If required, please state "partner wanted" under the extra information section on the entry form.
Finals Day - Saturday 16th June 2012
All competitors must be available for finals day.
Juniors to start at 9am with adults starting from 1pm. The order of play will be released 4 days prior to the finals.

Should there be any problems regarding your entry we will contact you after the closing date.
Once the draws have been finalised we will send out an email with the draw and a contact list of all competitors.
Draws can also be viewed at the club on the tennis notice board.
