Esporta Riverside Club, we are pleased to announce our second tranche of tennis club championships for 2011. Events included are as follows: Mens Singles 45/55 Once again in order to raise proceeds for Save the Children we will be holding a mixed doubles round robin event on Sunday 25 September at 730pm. Entry fee is minimum £10 donation to save the Children which we can only take in cheque or cash. All participants will receive a free gift and a free drink from the bar after the event. In aid of Save the Children, we are hosting a ladies doubles round robin event on Tuesday 13 September from 10am till 1230pm. SPEND A SESSION ON COURT WITH FORMER WORLD RANKED No. 4-TIM HENMAN We are excited to announce that Tim Henman, former British No. 1 and 4 times Wimbledon semi-finalist will be visiting the club on Saturday 3 September, from 10am. There are a number of special events that Tim will be partaking in on-court as follows: 10-1045 Junior Cardio Drills (INVITE ONLY) Tim will join a number of juniors for an on-court high tempo session to music. 1045-1130 Adult Cardio Tennis (SIGN UP) There will be a limited number of spaces for members on a first come first served basis to sign up for an opportunity to hit some balls with Tim on court-this session will be conducted as a cardio session, a fast moving, high tempo drills session to music. There will also be some fun games to conclude the session. Anyone interested should sign up at Advanced reservations (0208 987 1888). 1145-1230 Performance tennis session (INVITE ONLY) Tim will hit with some top talent from our performance programme while they are put through their paces whilst being directed from one of our performance coaches. This will include playing some live points. 1230-1250 Q & A session (OPEN TO ALL) This is an opportunity to ask Tim any tennis related questions to what is he up to now. This session will be taken by either Dan Lobb (Daybreak presenter) or Anneka Rice. 1250-1pm- Autograph time. (OPEN TO ALL) Ensure you bring a momento with you to get it signed by Tim before he departs for the day.
