Ladies 1st Team won Winter Floodlight also by a stonking amount, despite not being able to see the ball!!!! We are now heading up to Div 1 having started in Div 4 Winter 07/08. Great effort by everyone who played because we too played in freezing conditions and on 2 occassions in the pouring rain! Standings of Ladies Doubles [...] Yet another stunning performance by the Ladies 2nd tennis team – with a complete whitewash over a good quality team from Lensbury. With this result and some more wins, it should result in the Ladies 2nd team being promoted at season end up from Division One. Liz Walter Riverside Ladies 1st tennis team have started their campaign in the Middlesex Cup (knockout tournament) with a crushing win over Wayfarers by 6 rubbers to nil. |
